Best single set-up - 10.07.2005, 12:07 PM

Can't edit the title:(

What is the best motor and controller for an all alum truck? Good speed, torque on 16 cell's?

I'm thinking 9920 and 7xl?

I would have to say a single big motor. The volts are higher for higher efficency. You only need one esc verses two. two small motor at 200 garms each verse one big one at 350. Less wires to. It would be cheaper to run the single as well.

edit: A 9920 and a 7xl would or should push the truck nicely on 16 cells. Put 18 on for an xtra bit if you want as well.

Peace!

Have to wait until mike get the 9920 any way. I think you will like the set up. I have run the 7xl from 14-18 cells. It does good.

Or i'll buy one from Serum. If he has a spare.

But since I want a cnc machine first, it'll have to wait.
