Looking for a new 1/18 onroad...something better than the 18B - 08.22.2008, 06:28 PM

I have an 18B which I use to basement race. I am looking for a true on road micro to do some p-lot racing at 40 -50 mph. any ideas?

Not sure if your parking lot will be smooth enough for a true 1/18 on road. If it is the xray m18 is most likely the best bet...

Anyone want to chime in on a good servo for the X-Ray M-18 that will fit w/no mods.

I am using the xray servo in mine but I believe the hs82mg fits and I know there is a list of other servos that fit on the xray forum.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

have have the m18 (had one sold it and bought another one last week) and i love it, the hs 81 and hs85 servos fit and so do the xray ones but they are a bit more expensive. I also like the vendetta for onroad with a fast brushless setup and touring car foams. It handles great and keeps up with the recoils at the track. (BTW you could also take a look at the recoils as they are slightly bigger touring car than the xray)

I am using a HS-85MG in my Xray M18T Pro. It works verry nice.
