Mugen MBX6 Buggy - 09.04.2008, 06:34 AM

Howdy, just saw the MBX6 listed on tower and amain, hadn't heard it announced anywhere else (not that I really follow it), and i swear it wasn't on the 'coming soon' list yesterday

Thought someone might like to know :)

I have to say the sexiest and most different new buggy I have seen recently is the new team magic buggy. That thing looks sweet and has some really nice features.

Wow! It looks good. I'm still not sure about the pillow ball steering, but dan it looks really nice.

So who is gonna be the forst to convert one.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Yeah pillow balls are the killer for me, I hate em. I think they work in the revo because theyre sealed, but like on the TT ST-1 they just get flogged out way to quickly with no seals. I imagine the Mugen is a billion times better quality than the ST-1, but I still can't imagine unsealed pillow balls will last that long.

D8 has been ordered and will be converted into a CORR truck , you can't beat it for price and should be tough as nails if going by past Hot Bodies products also Ty the kid just won the Canadian nationals with the D8 buggy.
.
The Mugen looks hot and should be a very solid buggy if continuing on from the MBX5 and at a good price like the Xray at $599 not like the new Kyosho $850

Mugen PBS works. never had any issues with it and it's rock solid.
i dont like that new shocks are threaded. for racing it's way easier to setup preload with spacers to have both shocks equal
will get one next year so I can race both truggy and buggy

How much has it been through? I was also told ST-1 PBS was tough as, then after about an hour total running the suspension was sloppier than paris hilton.
