Converting to lipo

I'm sorta debating to go lipo in a few month's, so naturally I got a question. Would 2 of these pack's be better then 12 gp cell's?

I plan on keeping my 'ol hacker master competition esc with the c50, but if these pack's doesn't give me allot more power over nihm's i'd go for something better. But what?

My main consern is speed and run time, minimal of 15 minute's. Would these pack's work?

what kind of run times do you get know. you will probably get more than 15 minutes. you might want something with a higher discharge rating though.

Not a whole lot. I'm guessing 10 at the most on matched gp 3300's.

So these pack's would be better?

Downside is, they are almost as heavy as nihm's. (420 gram's for 6 cell pack)

If you would like to use the packs in your first post. You could set the amp limit on the Hacker speed control. That is what I did with my clod. But for some reason I had to set the speed control for 30 amps to make it pull 60 amps.

Yes that was my intention, either 30 or 45 amp limit.

So that will work ok for 40'ish mph?

I use excactly the same LiPo´s from maxamp with my HV-Maxx system - runtimes about 20-25 minutes without problems.

I also use:

SUPER SUPER COOL !!!

Look at the data - only 335 grams and 132mm long (lower weight and shorter lenght than the 6300mAh !!!)

Runtimes around 45 minutes and the EMAXX seems to explode with the HV-Maxx - the first 10-15 minutes you are not able to push full throttle.

It is an awesome power/weight ratio.

whats a scam? also, does anybody know what cells they use for the 8000 packs? 3s4p=2000s. i think thats what they are but im not sure.
