Hey magman,
I have lunsford titanium screw kits for all my cars (losi 8b,8t and assoc. RC8T). They are $230 per set and worth every penny in my opinion. in fact, i get everything titanium that i can...turnbuckles, hingepins, screws etc. the good thing for you is that you can get your ti. screw kit for aobut $100 on amain. you just need the top and bottom set, as they call it. they are about $45 each i think. i am actually selling one of my ti. screw kits right now on ebay cuz i sold my 8b. the only problem is they are standard and the MBX is metric. here is the link though.

also, for less weight you can get these titanium CVDs which i would definitely do. view the link on ebay.

ti. screw kits save a lot of weight. you can notice it with your bare hands when you pick up your buggy. the stock steel screw kit weighs between 6-8 ounces, depending on how many screws you have. the titanium kits weigh between 2.5-4 ounces. they are basically half the weight. cutting off 4 ounces of weight is pretty big. replace other steel parts with titanium and you can lose 1/2 pound real quick. plus titanium is stronger. i noticed on my buggy that after just regular racing and jumping i would see a bent hingepin, or bent screws in certain places. i have never broke or bent a titanium hingepin or screw yet.
take it from someone who has tried them...the ti. screw kits make a big difference in weight and strength thus increasing performance also. btw, here are the links to the ti. screw kits for the MBX5 on amainhobbies.com
