Unfortunately, their cs has lot to be desired. They only have one employee answering the phone. I tried email to no avail so I bit the bullet and called their number (overseas call from Japan to San Diego). I played phone tag with them last month.

Good luck.

well thats not good news...dang, i was kinda hoping that this would be a quick process. heres the deal, I installed some CC 6mm plugs to replace the 4mm ones that come stock on the teckno neu's and after the installation the motor would not spin when given throttle, it would just sit there and try to move but cog....so i figured that it was one of my solder joints, i checked them all and as far as i can tell they are good and strong. I didnt change anything on the MMM as far as settings go so i havent checked that.

Then i crack open the can and have a look inside. Upon inspection i find a spall piece of what appears to be some part of the motor, not sure it does not look like anything that could have worked its way in as it is larger than the small amount of space between the motor wires and the rear cap. i also look at the rotor and windings and everything looks good except i can notice a single wire on the rear of the motor that is broken and discolored....but it is the ONLY one, everything else is of normal color and looks to be in good shape.

So i puct it all together again and it starts working perfectly without cogging of any sort, i first test it out of the E-revo then put it in to make sure its not drivetrain related (drivetrain was smoothe with no binding). after a few seconds of throttle i notive a small loss in power then a small poof of smoke...I have not since take it aprt or tried to run it and i would just prefure to have them look at it and hopefully fix it under warrantly.

Sorry for the long post, but do you guys think that this will be covered under warranty?

That sucks. When you can get a hold of them, I would explain what you did as you said here (I'm sure they'll be able to tell you opened it the first time). Good luck!
