Zippy-H EagleTree data - 03.05.2009, 10:18 PM

I currently have my E-Revo set up for speed runs (Phaltlines, 24/54 gearing, suspension-limiting zip-tie, etc). I read somewhere recently that the Zippy packs might not stand up to the demands of ridiculous gearing on such a heavy vehicle, so I figured I'd throw caution to the wind and find out how they'd do.

My new Zippy-H 3s 5000mAh 20C packs arrived today, so I charged them up, threw them in, and beat them savagely for just under 15 minutes.

They seem to have done okay from what I could tell from their maiden voyage. I did several 60mph passes up and down my street and brought it in.

Here are the stats according to my Garmin GPS and Eagle Tree:

MMM fan was on, but temp unknown
1515 1y = 127.2F
Max Speed = 63.7mph (never really opened it up all the way because my street is too short for it)
Max Watts = 3465
Max Amperage = 182.45A
Lowest Pack V = 18.43V (3.07v/cell)

There were a couple of rest periods in there while waiting for the street to clear and answering neighbors questions about the speeding bullet whizzing by their houses.

What are your thoughts? Do you think they handled it alright?
