Center Diff Lock - 03.15.2009, 08:52 PM

...so i am running a CD in my Svage hybrid...

...It has 5000 weight in it right now and it feels great...

...MetalMan is running 10,000?

...I know that diff feel is all 'feeling' but what would happen if you ran, for example, a Maximizer Savage Diff Locker in the center? Bad idea? Good results? Your thoughts...

Mine is running a combo of 100,000 and 30,000 with some that has leaked out (crappy Ofna seals...). If I were to refill it soon, it would probably get 50,000wt.

If you ran a diff locker in the center you might start to experience drivetrain durability issues, due to increased stressed on everything.

If your setup is not having huge amounts of front tire unloading (and consequently ballooning) you may be ok with what you have... It does seem a bit light, I usually use traxxas 30,000 fluid in my center diff buggies, but I have them really overpowered and run on very high traction surfaces with grippy tires.

So your results may vary, use as directed, if inflamation occurs cease use and contact your doctor, not available in all areas, results not typical. Please reheat before use, and have a nice day.
