just wondering if my lipos are too much for the new RX8 esc please help , there are( 6s 35c continuous 129.5 amp 60c burst 222amp ) am i close to limit or ok the mmm esc doesn t seem to like them.
As long as the lipo can keep up with the current draw of the motor, then you will be fine. It does not matter how much power the battery can produce, the motor will draw what it needs, regardless. If the batts are not powerful enough they will get hot and puff. Why does the MMM not like them?
on my first run the v3 stopped working and the second v3 stopped after about 12 minutes into the run, does the cell count and that is it, maybe hot ? but temps where good, with my 30c pacs no issues ???? did check of everything and now all good so lets see what happens now where is the RX8
What brand are the batteries that are giving problems? I don't think you can have a problem with too much battery, but the MMM does not like the low output ones.
