MMM + 2200 in revo gearing

getting ready for race tomorrow...
ive got the revo convert geared 16/68 as that is as low as i can go...motor hits tranny.

but i also like to run 6s lipo for efficency...
my mates revo convert i did for him uses a medusa 2000kv 70mm...this is geared 15/65 and is running on 6s...his temps are uber low...
mine get up around 140 under hard conditions (simulating race conditions) and the fan on the MMM comes on.

i dont like this...is there anything i can do about this besides getting a medusa like he has?

i wanna gear lower and use 6s (and dial out the punch like i did for my friend)
