Is there more 1/8 sensored systems that are on market currently?

The LRP has only just been released, so don't expect much in the way of feedback. In my opinion, the ESC just looks like an SXX with a fan and some new stickers. Only 4S capable.

The Novak ESC is a little dated now, and the motors don't really come with a useable kV for 1/8 buggies and truggies. Again 4S limit.

The Tekin ESC is good, bearing in mind it hasn't been out that long, and so Tekin haven't been able to iron out all the little problems yet, much like the MMM. The motors, however, I cannot recommend. Yet. I've had a couple of rotor failures. I've got some new things to try (slipperential and gearing up), so I'll reserve judgement until then. 6S capable though! Tekin are really trying to look after anyone with ESC/Rotor failures and are being quite quick with help and advice.

Hobbywing/Speed Passion. I'd just skip past the SP part and just get the Hobbywing stuff - it's the same, but cheaper. This combo is by far the cheapest out of the four. I don't have much experience with the motors other than to say they feel very small. They are only the same diameter as a normal 1/10 motor, just a little longer. 80A Hobbywing is 4S capable - same as the SP, but the 150A HW is 6S capable. Also comes with a quick programming card, which is very easy to use and makes adjustments a breeze. To make use of their warranty, be prepared to send it back to China for extended periods, should anything go wrong.

Q. what vehicle are you thinking abot putting the system in exactly/ overall setup?

But my plan is to put it in XT8 with 4S or 5S probably 4S.

Are those sensor cables standard? I mean can i use e.g. Tekin esc and LRP motor?

Most sensor cables are std, however I cannot see using anything other than the tekin motors. You plan to run a truggy on 4s, you will need all the torque you can get. The 2 pole novak/etc motors are not as good as the tekin. Any reason you have to have sensored?

Hmm, they are both 45g. Can't be that much to improve the voltage capability to 4S, a new BEC design maybe? Some different Caps?

That specs allows you to correctly determine the proper maxamps pack to buy. Jut match that number to the "ratings" that MA have an you are good to go.

I read it as 76amps per phase at 1st glance, and thought that was a bit overrated...

So that would be 3x 764A= 2292A!! Now thats what i call salesman talk...
Lets give others honor to burn first LRP esc's. Can anyone confirm that are LRP motors 2 or 4 pole?

Lol, and agreed, I had to do a double take at that. I knew LRP overrated their ESCs, but I didn't know that it was by that much.

The only sensored 1/8th systems out there are the ones already mentioned. Unless you include Nosram, which is just LRP in red.

The SPX8 doesn't even have better BEC - still 2S LiPo BEC. You have to connect the ESC to 2S voltage input by a sperate wire. That's something new, weird. Check out the manuals of the SPX8 and Vector8 at www.lrp.cc

My CC BEC handles up to 10S, LRP SPX8 handles up to 2S for BEC and only 4S to power the motor. Whaz going on?

But the size and weight look nice. Also the different design of the Vector8 - high kv, 13mm diam rotor and 275g total weight (thats 100g less and even more)

SPX8 isnt a 1/8 esc, its a 1/10 TC system that just so happens to work on 4s lipo, so they stuck a new label on it and called it 1/8 scale, as has already been discussed.

Now comes CC MMpro, designed for 1/10 scale though. I have no doubt it will run great with 6S + low KV motor on a 1/8 buggy.
