Snow! - 12.23.2009, 07:51 PM

I am about to be hounded by snow. We got 3" the other night and now we are supposed to get 12-16" in the next couple days. The plan is to try to get into town tomorrow morning hitching a ride with my dad on his way to work. Then once it stops snowing we'll go air-mattress sledding.. I have a bunch of cousins from WI so it'll be a great time. It will be a good holiday if I can get into town.

I live about 10 miles NE of sioux falls on the map.. Looks like it will be a fun few hours of snowblowing.

It's snowing right now,, we probably got around an inch or so so far. I'm pretty dang excited!

I'm just outside the purple zone on the map. I might need paddle tires on my wheelchair.

What is this snow you speak of? I wish it would get cold for more than 2 days in a row. You guys have fun with your white Xmas.

Sunday on Cape Cod we received 15-20". Which is rare for us to receive that amount. I worked the storm for 24 straight hrs. took 5 off then another 16 straight. The timing was perfect...help pay for x-mass....nice having storms on the weekend, all overtime!
