Is that it? That's not what I was expecting, and I need the bottom plate for my flm chassis.

Are you sure that's what we were waiting for?

I need Mike's input...

For the FLM chassis you could mount it directly to the centre skid, using the supplied template to mark where to drill. For the Gmaxx chassis, you definately will need the bottom mounting plate to attach it to the chassis rails, otherwise it will have to go on the battery plate, making it sit really low- good for the CoG, bad as you'll need to notch the X-braces most likely, and probably mod the rear upper plate for the motor to fit, unless you use a rather short item.

Need Mike's input indeed....

I am a little bit confused also Harold. I would have prefered that he just reproduced what he already had. That design was pretty simple and fit straight onto the Maxx chassis without a whole lot of bother. I am not sure what he was going for with this, but I will try anythying out at this point after waiting for over two years to get my hands on one. I knew you should have kept the one you had. I have an email into Mkie right now asking if this is what he had in mind for a replacement for the one you had.

The flm chassis doesn't come with a center skid. FRICK

I'm glad I have some 3mm 7075 aircraft grade aluminum at my disposal. We'll see how this thing turns out.

I run it on my G3R - It requires from fine placement but a 44T spur is easy, a 46T is tight and 48T required a tickle to the braces...

I PM'd him. I can make it work. The price is nice. We'll see. Right now I'm practicing my deep breathing exercises and trying not to have a coronary embilism.

Just wheel yourself over to James's house and chase him around with your chair while you hang on to a big 12 gage shotgun. That will relieve some stress for ya. As usual this is his fault anyway.
