RX8 2050KV MOTOR+mamba V3 ESC? - 02.10.2010, 10:50 AM

Hi!
my friends driving with this motor...
how this motor is good with the ESC MMM V3?
I hear there is a problem in this motor?..

Is going to be on losi 8ight 1.0

I drive in a track racing...

with a 4S 5000MAH 40c lipo...

How this combos?

If sambedy have a pics of this motor on losi 8ight i like to see:)

I'm running the 1700kv Rx8 Tekin truggy motor with the MMM on 5s and it works fine. Not sensored of course, but it runs fine. The "problem" you are referring to is probably the rotor magnets coming loose on the shaft, but that's been taken care of as far as I know. My motor came with an updated rotor, but I haven't even put that one in yet because the original is still working fine.

I ran my buggy 2050kV T8 Tekin with MMM (don't know which version, it was borrowed) on 4S on a Xray XB808 buggy and no problems. I felt the lack of sensored prescision you have with RX8 ESC but it was ok to run! So there should be no problems for you :)

I run my 8ight t 2.0 w/1700T8/MMM V3 14/45 On 5S And it is a very nice set up. Here are a cople pics

I think that they may have fired the original " glue guy"

The original glue guy was "stuck" in a small corner of the assembly area and has not been seen for quite some time...
