well my day promised to be good got all my new goodies for the revo i just got
new servo
new 5cell 5000mah lipo
long shank pinion

test drove it in the garden (small garden) lasted 3mins tops before it blow out the output gear

cracked open to trans to find its fwd only conversion only consisted of removing the reverse gear... also found the transmission was not locked car came with all the rc monster info on doing the job

with no hobby shop open within 400km of me i guested i could maybe get away with using the reverse gear as a forward, that lasted 10yards maybe 15yards

figured i'd lock the transmission into 2nd while i had some time on my hands and order some new gear etc......

found a complete trans on ebay snapped that up quick to notice its only the rear break conversion

and to top it all of i've managed to melt the servo board

figured its time to put the rc cars away and wait the 2 weeks for all the replacement parts and hoppups
