Motor bit the dust. - 03.31.2010, 06:21 PM

Need some help,my mudusa 36-60-2000 motor broke it's rotor in three places
this week end.I try to glue it with everything i could but no luck.So i am looking for a new motor for my losi 8 buggy.I check the monster store and
i see the mike still sells mudusa motor's.I wanted to get the same motor, but
all i see is 3100,1800,1600,1300,motor's.Which motor will work in by losi 8 buggy. If any one is selling a good motor that is in good shape, just send me
a pm,or any suggestion on a motor that i can use.Thank's.

The 1800 wouldn't be a bad choice. You could adjust your gearing to compensate for the slightly lower RPM/v.

Neu Motors has taken over the Medusa line of motors and will be producing some.

They have the 36-60-2200 for sale as well.

Depends what voltage you're using really- a 60-70mm 4 pole motor is fine for typical 1/8 buggies, unless it's particulary fast or geared for insane speeds, then a longer motor would be better..
