Order issue - 05.29.2010, 09:03 AM

Hi All... well I tried to place an order two days ago with my CC and got an error message twice, so I placed it using paypal instead and it went through...I got my order conf and all was good till I saw my CC got charged twice and Mike sent me 2 click and ship notifications... I tried emailing him asap to say only ship one, but havn't heard back yet. Just curious on the return policy, etc....

Hi.I ordered a selection of pinions for the mlst from hopmeup.it was to contain a 19 t pinion that I could drill out to replace the crappy plastic idler in the centre gearbox.I got 2x 17t pinions & 2x 20 t pinions. What the **** am I supposed to do with them? Does everyone get this stupid treatment,or is it just me? I'm getting paranoid!

I just called Mike and left him a message basically repeating what you wrote. Hopefully, he can catch the order before it goes out the door. But even if he missed it, I'm sure he will work with you as there was obviously an issue.

Sounds like hopmeup.com got an order mixed up. I'd imagine you'd have to contact them since Mike has, to my knowledge, nothing to do with them.

Sweetride - try phoning Mike or contacting Art1k who can contact him for you- you shoudl be able to return the item for a refund or cancel the order if it hasnt be dispatched yet.

bumsnogger- sounds like you got someone elses order by mistake ( its happend to me before when buying various things, just a mix up of shipping labels for the packages ). Just phone or email them and explain what happend- they will probably ask you to return the items and send you the correct order & should reimburse you for postage.

Hi guys.I had an email from hopmeup today .I've just got to give the order No's .At last a company I don't have to threaten with trading standards(every one else needs a little nudge) Hopefully I'll have a new plastic gear soon. I didn't know I needed to shim it,I thought they were indistructable.

I suggest starting a new thread rather than replying in others peoples threads...

What did they say last? I've had great customer service from hopmeup.

Me too, hopmeup are usually pretty good. You have upto 45 or 90 days to file an ebay/paypal dispute, but you have to wait 14 days to allow them to respond first. What coms have to you sent & received so far?

2 weeks is about average, so.....

Its all business at the end of the day, lots of middle men who all do their bit & charge a fee for doing so, as I explained about 10 times over at BYT. I also showed you a way around the customs issue for future purchases, so....
