Mamba XL in stock or not?

Just went to place my order for the XL directly from Castle, on-line it looks as though I can put it in my cart and submit the order, but just out of curiosity I called to see if it comes with a coupon (like the ICE and MMP). After giving the sales rep the HTML address so she could find it (she was unaware it was for sale yet) she did some looking and found that the XL isn't in the production schedule yet though there is a run of 200 in process now...

So the question is, if I place an order now will it ship? Or will the order wait to be filled until there is a "production run" in the future?

I bought a MMM to run my RC in the mean time, and I realy want the XL asap, but I'd rather not have $350 of my RC funds tied up for an unknown period of time when there are other items I'd like to have in the mean time if we're talking weeks... Running 4s parallel with the MMM but want to move to 4s x 2 for 8s on the XL.

I think the first stock will go to the bigger distributors.

Yah, I kinda figured that. I even asked but the rep didn't know.

I'd like to either buy it from Castle or RCM.

Maybe but how about a pre-order from mike... Would a week kill you?

The extra few bucks that would go to mike would help ensure the Monster and this site survives the downturn...

The order will fill as soon as the Mamba XLs clear into stock.

The ESCs are in final assembly / packaging now.

A preorder with Mike would be awsome, that way 2 of my favorite companies will benefit :-) Arct1k can you post how to to preorder the XL here on RCM? (on that subject I'm trying to get a universal diff/motor mount too)

Post in the contact mike thread that you would like both - I spoke to him last week and he was going to make a new batch of universals - was just waiting to make it worth a run.

Post there and I'll give me a call personally on friday to chase. Buying Castle from Mike gives both a slice of the pie.

Is the price on tower the actual price to that pre sale inflation price tower usually puts??!

MiamizFinest, I'd assume it's actual price for the first few sales, then it'll jump up to ~$350 as that's what Castle is selling them for.

I'm also waiting to get word back on what/when RC Monster is going to do with the XL sales...
