New Truggy but which? Rc8Te or DEX408T

Hello Guys,

i wan't to buy a new Truggy for me but i didn't know which is the right one for me.

I currently drive a AE RC8.2e. I like this Car but it is to flat for my place. So he will always depend on the stones. My UE/FLM Maxx with Truggy Wheels has no problems there.
So I was seached for a new car. It is very hard to find a good Truggy here in Germany, because i want to drive an electric one and Truggy are not popular here. I like the Rc8T by Team Asso but it is very Expensive here.(550€=718$) I saw the new DEX408T and i like it. It look's pretty nice. But what is better? An RC8Te, an DEX408T or an DNX408T for exsample with the Rc-Monster Kit?

Sorry for my bad English, but the words just are not my thing. I am a man of mathematics.

The AE truggy will share some parts with your AE buggy... if this is not a concern, then I would go for the DEX408T. Not sure that one is any better than the other... but I really like the new Durango myself.

Well, my first recommendation would have been UE, but sounds like that is already good to go.

The Durango, time will tell. Given their previous history, I'd be concerned parts would fall off and/or it would break just sitting on a stand in the pits Durango has a really horrible reputation for their SCT's, so let's HOPE that they completely re-engineering all aspects of the truggy.

Being a EB48 and SCT410 owner, my recommendation would be wait for the Tekno ET48 or NT48.

thank you for your answers.
I have now read through a lot about DNX408T. I have three main problems found:
1. The wishbone holder front
2. the tank
3. The ball heads at the front

But I have found a solution for every problem.
1. the holder will come made by steel
2. I use Brushless
3. I can use an other ball heads.

I think it will be an 408T but which one? An DEX408T or an DNX408Te with Rc-Monster Kit. Can i twist the Center Diff in the DNX408T?

I would go for the one that is already electric personally, it'd get rid of the hassle and probably be a little cheaper in the long run.

But and far as quality, I have no idea witch would actually do better

Exactly, one of the big reasons I recommend the Tekno. It is neither 1) A nitro that is converted to electric then released by the manufacture or 2) a aftermarket nitro conversion.
