Emaxx no go - 06.11.2006, 04:38 PM

My emaxx has developed a problem. It has a 9920/7xl and a ubec. It has been running great with temps of 145 on the 7xl and around 90 on the 9920. gearing is 15/51 for bashing. The last time I ran it, everything worked great. hooked up fresh batteries today for some bashing and it won't go at all. Checked voltage at the controller, 15.62vdc (batteries are 12 cells GP3300). The steering servo works, the cooling fan on the 9920 works, just no forward or reverse! I did reprogram the 9920 just to make sure it did not some how loose it's mind. Reprogramming went find. Motor did all of it's beeps. But it just won"t go.

What is the best way to test the contoller and motor? If the controller is working, what voltage should I see across the three motor wires?

This is the only setup I have.

Thanks for the help!

Im not stumped. Have you tried running a reciever pack? Maybe try another radio, but last but not least, check ALL of your connections.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL
