im trying to get a nitro set up quick for some summer racing and was wondering what you guys think of the mugen mbx5t (non prospec) and what motors (200-250) (.21-.28) would you run , also any other truggy sugestions are great, but a buddy of mine says go mugen, thanks for any insight

from what i can tell at my track, the losi 8t is up there with the mbx5t. as far as an engine, picco .28 for all out power or maybe a novarossi p5 or p5x from ebay. i would stick to a .21 in the lighter trucks.

i would say that the mugen, losi and xray are pretty much the 3 best, all 3 are really lightweight, so i'd use an .21 if i would drive a nitro.
also i allready bought a losi and its real nice, but i pre-ordered the xt8 aswell to see if its even nicer qua fit 'n finish, handling, ...

From the race results I've seen, The top 3 are the Jammin' CRT, Mugen MBX5t, and just because of quality and support, the X-ray.

My vote is for the Mugen, except for one small problem, YOUR RUNNING NITRO!
