RTR Truggy - 06.12.2005, 04:17 PM

Does anybody know of some rc companys that makes an rtr truggy. When I say rtr I mean like the revo you buy the batterys and fuel and things like that so people dont get confused. I know there are companys that make conversion kits to turn a buggy into a truggy or a monster truck into a truggy.

Try the Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium. I have one, and it rips. Good power in stock trim, and it handles great...

From what i've seen at the track, and heard on other forums the hot bodies lighting stadium is the best rtr truggy for the money. Maybe mike can comment on this.

I run the Hot Bodies truggy. They are an awesome RTR truggy. I can usually at least place wherever I race with it, and mine is pretty much bone stock (Lightning stadium pro-Hot Bodies). I happen to have two in stock if someone is looking for one.

Back on topic...

Ofna will also be coming out with a truggy (or two?). I saw it (them?) at RCX, and talked to one of the reps about it. It is called the Jammin' something or other, and aparently it isn't just a buggy with longer suspension arms and a truck body, but it was redesigned completely separate from the Jammin' buggy.

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz

There's a few 'proper' truggies coming out that are more than buggy conversions. There's the Thunder tiger ST1,the HPI hellfire is out soon, the jammin' is a pro spec kit but it's the dog's danglies. It's the first fully pro spec true truggy ie re-engineered, long arm, extended chassis and looks to be the only for a while. These truggies will outlap the buggies on the right track.
