Graphite Elegance - WHERE DID THEY GO? -
06.13.2007, 03:00 PM
Anybody know what's up with Graphite Elegance???
They have been off-line for a LONG time now. I need some CF.
Any other sources you guys know of aside from Dragonplate, McMaster, and Composite Resources.???

I heard months back that they where taking an extended vacation and would be back in either june or july, sorry I cant remember which J month it was or even what forum I read it in.
I was looking at making my buggys battery box out of carbon, but I wasn't prepared to pay dragonplate prices, don't have a place to laminate in my new flat, and couldn't wait for there holiday to end so I ended up using alloy.

Thanks guys....
I have a pricing request into Composite Resources. They have some decent product. I'll let you know the pricing structure when I get it.
And I may go alloy as well based on what others like Dragon Plate are asking for CF!

If you find a good place let us know. I have been waitng for GE to open again for quite a while and could really use a reasoable alternate source. I need the angles they make.
And yes... they do this more than once a year. Its just a guy doing it part time out of his garage so he gets a project and closes the store down to do it.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
