Need some Advice - 07.01.2005, 11:11 AM

Currently I have a tc4 and a t4 from associated.

About 4 years ago I had an E-Maxx, and a t3 (Iloved the E-Maxx) So I definitly want another Monster Truc, but Im having some trouble deciding what to get. I have some extra money burning a hole in my pocket, and Mike doesn't have the MGM 80 COmpro's in stock yet so I can't outfit my tc4/t4 with BL.

My question is...

What Monster truck do I want

Traxxas T-Maxx

Revo

Losi LST.

I've never had a Nitro R/c Vehicle, but I'm the type to try stuff. Do you think its worth it? I mean, is it a hard change? Im an educated person, I can't see it being extremly complicated. I know there are upsides and downsides to both, but im a speed demon, and with 2 electric cars already, Im going to have to sink large amounts of cash into batteries if I get an E-maxx....

So Im thinking Gas if I can pull it off.

Which truck though? and Why? I don't want to spend 500 on a Revo, but I will if that truck is worth the money...Mike needs to get T-maxx's in for 319 btw, thats 60 bucks off my Hobby shop lol.

nitro is very fun but it can also be excpensive. Its not really complicated as long as you know what your doing I would suggest if you dont know anything about nitro to go to the traxxas fourum or whatever kind of vehicle you are getting but the best of luck for you and have fun i dont know much about traxxas,s t-maxx or revo or the lst im a XTM guy well except for the electric traxxas (pede e-maxx)

$369 for a t-maxx. I can't get them for $319! The t-maxx will be just as fast as a revo or LST, too. Maybe the fastest of the three, but they are all closely matched in the speed dept.

The LST comes with way more than just a killer radio. It's really a rockin' good truck. The stock engine is prone to exploding, but that just means you get to put a Picco .27 in it sooner rather than later.

I've had poor luck with the stock 2.5 in the Tmaxx. I bought a OS18tm last week. This week, I'm going to need tires. Runs great and plenty of power.

BTW Gas isn't cheap either.
