c-50 vs. heatsink-clamp - 07.29.2005, 01:07 PM

This might be a stupid question but I can't find the answer anywhere, so i'll ask it here.

Will the rc-monster heatsink-clamp fit my hacker c-50? And does it also reduce temp's?

Yes, I am told it does reduce temps, and I am 99.9% sure it will not fit the c50 motor as its diameter is too big.

The C50 motor has a heatsink built into it, thats why its so big. As far as I know there are no optional heatsinks you can fit on it. A fan may be the answer....

The built-in heatsink doesn't work very well in an emaxx - the fin's arn't in line with the airflow. So i'm looking for something that will bring tepm's down a bit. A fan might be the option, might give that a shot.

I had a set custom made for me when I had my 2 C-50s but maybe you can find something big enough that will fit.

Sneeck: These were made one time for me for a Project so I can't really give you a price unless they are willing to make this heatsink for a lineup. Originally they told me to get a custom part made by them, one would have to agree to a contract of around 500 - 5000 pieces of an item.
Maybe I can ask someone I know to help me make a few something like it if enough want heatsinks for motors like the C-50, I will find out.

MaxxDude1234: Yes I am insane and yes those are 2 C-50s in a Juggy. :D

Actually here is a better picture of the Heatsinks

Yes those are two C-50s in a Jugg over a year and a half ago. Haha..

(I will give ya a small glimpse into the project, hehe)

Started out like this

Now its more like this with 2 Plettenberg BigMaxximums instead of the Hacker C-50s.

This is my Jugg Dreadnaut Project I started over a years and a half ago.

My bad I didn't mean to Hi-Jack your thread.

She still is in the process. Not done yet. Getting things done custom isn't easy and isn't quick either.

Sorry I don't think I would sell em but Let me see if I can get someone to help me make some custom heat sinks for a C-50.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
