Converting a 15lb beastly truggzilla to brushless.

On our Austrian Forum we have a german guy (Memkafalamed) running his brushless Muggy with the following setup:

Lehner 2230/13 Hi-Amp
Schulze 40.160WK
6s 2200mah Lipos 25C / 6s 2500mah Lipos 25C

His Muggy wheighs around 5.8Kg (12.78lb). Every electric component runs cool and he managed to get 3rd position in his last race while competing with nitros. His runtime is around 8 minutes on thick grass. Although batteries and motor are on the same side, it is well balanced.

I personally would go with a Neu/Jazz kombo with 8s lipo.
