A clutch and electric make no sense IMO.

It's taking out a turbo of a turbo diesel engine..

it produces heat which decreases runtime, it takes of the kicking edge in starttorque, it adds maintenance, it makes it more comparable with nitro in terms of drive-style.

not saying it won't be fun to drive

I custom made one of these for my Losi 8 because the ESC I was using could not handle the amp draw needed for startups. The smaller motor/esc performed very well and felt and performed "like" a nitro. I removed the clutch springs and used 4 clutch shoes for maximium grip/engagement. I wouldn't neccessarily recommend this unless you are trying to reduce cogging, reduce the amps needed during startup, or attempting to reduce the wear on metal to metal pinion/spur gears.
