The center diff was changed over to a CR setup and I believe it's a Kyosho spur (around 46T). I run a 18T pinion and it's pretty good for speed and acceleration. It's a great mix, I'd probably go down a tooth for racing if there were a lot of blips and small jumps.
On 5s it should be even more insane. I've upgraded my lipo to a Flightpower pack but staying with 4s for now until the new MMM comes out. Then I'll switch over and run 4s for racing and 5s for bashing. I might even find a nice big track to run 5s on if I'm lucky.
About the set screw deal. You mean the set screw on the actual rear diff? What do those do, cause I see one on the center diff too. Sorry about the questions, I'm new to truggys. And thanks a million for the help, gotta get my truck running like yours.

Take a close look at your rear diff, where the rear center drive shaft connect on the rear diff. You have the outdrive how slide on the rear diff input pinion shaft. This outdrive is secure with a little allen screw. This allen screw must be tighten up with good locktite on it.
I tightened it up last night, should the one in the center diff be screwed all the way in as well? Oh sweet lrp wheels with the badlands, did the low profile help with ballooning? Later!
