Yes this is right. The only options (See on the card) are "very soft", "soft" and "normal". Even on normal there is an extremely noticeable and frustrating delay. If you keep the motor spinning inside the clutch it may help, thought I think this isnt good for the ESC because of how they limit the rpm.
