Patrick the fan connector is solder well & solidly attached the the CCA. The fan will run when removed & powered by a 5V supply. The connector Ohmed out to the board OK on the +V side but on the ground side I had a little trouble getting contact inside the connector. I found alot of conformal coating inside the connector which I cleaned out & then had no trouble ohming that connection to the CCA's ground. I tested the whole unit wired in the car again and the fan will not come on.

Update: Talked to Thomas at CC & he said he would send me out a new one with a mailer to return the bad one. Again, great customer service at CC.
