They are gaining momentum in brushless conversions in germany, but due to their price level and cheaper/better options they are not so wide spread.

Depends on what winding you choose. Their rpm limit is at 50000rpm. I would choose them about the same way as you would choose a Neu motor. Run them between 30000-40000rpm and you should be fine with an appropriate gearing. Since they have a built in fan, more rpm translates to more cooling. For reference i would expect more then 120A peak from a Kira 600/24 with 4s lipo, but this really depends on the load you will put on it (vehicle wheight and gearing).

A Kira 600 is a light (270gr) motor fitting somewhere between a Neu 1509 and 1512. It works very well in a 1:8 Buggy on 4s (Kira 600/24) and due to its cooling fan is also able to cope with a lighter MT or truggy. But i would rather choose a Kira 650/15 or 17 with 5s or 6s when you are planing to power a truck or truggy.

The jive ESC series still has no reverse.
