so i wonder if there is gonna be a V3? i sold my v2 on ebay the other day because i'd rather roll twin-v's right now than risk some of the pics i've seen.

I DO really want this controller, cause it's the only brand name i've seen that has this level of customer service. i think even the new tekin only goes up to 5s, right?

i'm building my third e-maxx right now, and I'd love to be able to drop that single motor mount in thinking they've almost got it figured out but i wanna make sure i get one of the ones that is 100% problem free.

Did you check out Mike sale price on the MMM V2s he has in stock. If that dont intice you to get one then nothing will. And you could always send it in later and get it upgraded

The little R1pro will run 6s now with the correct capacitior upgrade. I dont see why the Tekin 1/8 controllerwould be limited to 5s. We wont know for sure untill its released, but all the talk that I recall has been around 6s limits.

We have made some excellent progress. The case retool started a few weeks ago.

We have identified and fixed several minor issues on the Monster, and will be releasing a new hardware rev, and a new software rev in the next week or so.

The hardware and case upgrade will be free to owners of V1 and V2 Monsters. (The new cases look like about 2-3 weeks more before they are available...)

Its probably your unit that you sent in repaired. I know they are looking at all of the V2s and repairing the ones that are possible. I dont think they have any "replacement" units in stock any more, and probably wont untill the next run which will be ???.

Will V2s that are in now for repair be udated to the new hardware and case before being returned?

I believe they will be updated with new hardware. I don't know if we are going to wait on the new case (some people have been waiting a while now) or not -- that decision hasn't been made yet....

Fantastic! That's great news Patrick, and thanks for posting about it. If you don't mind my asking, what exactly are the problems?

My sentiments exactly. Thank you Patrick, I can't wait to try the V3. I have a working V2 using an external bec with the escs red wire disconnected so I'm in no hurry and would prefer to get a V3 with the updated case.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

Which red wire did you cut to run the external bec. I am going to do that on both of mine.
