I've got a 1600kv 80mm on the way for my muggy. I'm going to run it on 6S lipo and a MMM and try 6-9S lipo with lutach's 10S esc once I get a data logger to make sure I'm not drawing to many amps. Don't want to hurt anything.

Good luck.

IMO the 1600 on 6s would be plenty of motor for bashing, if you slam it and go with street tires the 6-9s setup should get you 60-70 MPH IMO, depends on how well you can keep it under control.
