do you have to use 1/2" offsets or can you go with zero offset?

i was having tonne's of issue's with tire's coming off of the rim before and since i switched to beadlock's i have been golden! not to mention that the badland's will hook on pretty much EVERY surface

for racing tire's; what's wrong with bowtie's or crimefighter's or similar?
