I would also say that it is nearly impossible to rewind the motor proberly by hand at home.

If you don't find any other solution, spend 10$ and ship it to me, i'll send it to Plettenberg directly from Germany. They care much more about their German customers. They check it really fast and tell you how expensive a repair would be.
