You have 8 MMM?! You need to get into some RC anonymous program. I was feeling guilty about wanting a 2nd MMM as backup for my E-8ight. I'll definitely be getting a spare and maybe even on for my E-crt.5 as the MM in it is acting up.

As for your notice of 4wd being harder on an ESC. There is no doubt. With much greater traction and generally more weight, 4wd draws more amps and amps seem to be whats hardest on ESCs. Also keep an eye on things like extra drag in the driveline system.
