I have converted my IGT, i run 2200KV NEU 1515 1Y/F with a MMM on 6s. I mounted the batteries on the stone guards that sit on either side of the chassis. But if you are making your own chassis than you could make it a bit wider and mount them one on each side. I used the RC monster motor mount and i run a Kyosho center diff. A two speed set up is easy to do. Just keep the standard two speed with brake on the front, get the two speed pinion adapter that mike sells and the gears that will give you the speed you want and find another place to mount your brake servo. There is a thread by Joe Ford from castle that has done a conversion with pics and video of a two speed. I think it is in the Castle Creations section. It is really easy to convert one of these it took me about two hours
