two sided tape or velcro on the bottom isn't enough to hold an mmm down. ziptie that sob or get the traxxas hold down for it. these r/c's are going atleast 30mph and 30-0 in 0.0 seconds is extreme force. An expensive lesson but castle shouldn't have to pay it, they already knew that.

Alright, Please read a bit more carefully this time, The bottom half of the case was still stuck to the battery try and gave me a hell of a hard time to come off, I used double sided servo tape. It wasn't a bad way to hold a MMM down that caused this but rather the case opening under force, In my manual it said nothing about having to strap the top of the case down so it doesn't separate from the bottom. Also none of the pictures on castles website showed the ESC being held down by nothing more than double sided tape. I understand the forces these go through but I would think the case should at least be able to handle them.

Oh I read it all. Completely understood the bottom of the case stayed behind. How many times had you had it open?

Now you know this isn't a sufficient way to hold them down. If this was my situation I would consider it my fault.

Maybe castle will disagree and warranty it. If you tell them the same story you wrote here, I doubt it.

Not starting a flame war, IMO you should have fastened it better. I'm sure you will next time. The traxxas hold downs are the shit and have a place for the switch.
