Yes it does, it is the best ever created!

There are small pieces of aluminum that are about 3/8" wide, 1/4" tall, and 2½" long that bolt to the chassis, and then the transmission bolts to them. A set is coming with the chassis, plus I also have a set.

The aluminum itself is Heat-Treated 7075-T6 Alloy Aluminum, which is pretty much the best aluminum alloy there is. 7075-T6 is 4 times stronger, and more than 2 times harder than 6061-T6, basically making 7075-T6 a super-aluminum, far superior to 6061-T6 for making RC parts out of. The only property in which 6061-T6 beats 7075-T6 is weight...7075-T6 is a little heavier than 6061-T6, but that is easily and commonly overcome, resulting in a 7075-T6 part actually being lighter than the same part made out of 6061-T6. Since 7075-T6 is so much stronger than 6061-T6, you don't have to use as much of it to create the part, resulting in a 7075-T6 part that is both stronger and lighter than the same part made out of 6061-T6.

And going far beyond just the strength and durability of the 7075-T6 aluminum alloy he used, all UE parts were meticulously designed, engineered, tested, refined, and created by Robin Oury (Owner of Unlimited Engineering) to be better than any other part on the market, or to create a completely new part for the market! UE parts are not just aluminum copies of stock parts, far from it, they are completely re-engineered by Robin, making them better, stronger, lighter, more durable, and higher-performing. Robin changed the working geometry of many of his parts for higher, superior performance. He literally developed new technologies that were once deemed impossible (like his Hi-Impact technology). UE parts literally are the very best parts available for the Maxx-Series of trucks, and nothing else even comes close!

Like I said, $416 is cheap for a Lightning chassis, since there were so few made, and most people who own one refuse to ever sell it. They typically go for $700 to $800 used, and much more NIP!

The seller is sending the mounts with the chassis, and I have a set of them anyway.

Hellz yea $416 is a deal...maybe not to some of you guys, but it most definitely is to me! I will have Andrea (my fiance) "use her lips" while I hold and stare at my new UE Lightning EXT Chassis...HAHA!

I AM very happy with it, happier than I have ever been about buying a UE part...the only thing that will make me happier is if I win the VBS I am bidding on, or whenever I finally get a VBS.

Trust me, there will be a build thread for this truck, it will just have to wait until I get a VBS so I can use the parts from my current Supermaxx that the VBS replaces, as well as when I find and buy another UE Racer-X Suspension (16mm preferred, since I have another set of 8mm UE CVDs)!

I know that some of you think $416 is way too much money for this chassis, and that some of you just aren't very familiar with Unlimited Engineering (Supermaxx) parts, but I am extremely pleased and happy and excited about this purchase...especially since I have been wanting a Lightning for a very long time.
Honestly, I know what you mean about the quality, and rarity of the UE parts, but some of them I wouldn't run. Maybe its just me...Like the Lightning chassis for one. I just never cared for them since its a high CG chassis. I'd much rather something like a Gorillamaxx.
