Castle opted to hardware the battery connectors - I believe this was to eliminate any risk of batteries being shorted if someone pulled out the leads.

My guess this was a "fix" for your model which has the sockets on the battery side.

You mean Castle solder it to my plate or simply replace by an ESC with this connector ?
