It will be going into my 4x4 FG, I really doubt that it would be able to handle that monster truck... but we will see I guess...

How'd you guys order from the RC-fans site? I'm guessing that's where you got the 5692 for 100$ or so, but it's only wholesale?

Someone. Please. I've asked several times now, but how do you order from the wholesale site? There isn't even a pricetag available.

I have break the rule and buy one leopard hobby brushless motor (4074 1400Kv in my 6S buggy).
It works perfectly, but the quality does not come even close to the Castle motors : the wires are in fact the windings, the can does not have cooling fins, which make it heat more than the Castle, the rotor looks very messy with its strange kevlar...
But with an additionnal heatsink, it runs as cool as my Castle motors, and the efficiency is the same, moreover the bearing are as big as Castle one's, so for the price, it's a good choice if you want a small Kv motor with high voltage setup. I will try some tuning, like put Castle rotor in and see what happen...
I just wait that Castle build its 1515 1.5Y 1466Kv motor to replace it !
Inferno VE MMv3 NEU-CC 1515/1Y 4S "Flying machine"
MBX5T Prospec MMv3 NEU-CC 1520/1Y 6S "Overkill Flying machine" ;)
Brushless, what else ?

i am very tempted to try one of the leopard 1000kv motors but i am struggling to believe that when the can is smaller than a castle 1520 1600kv motor, can it really deal with the stress of running 10s???? Maybe it can? But i think i will give it a go and test it at some point...
