Since your a experienced RC'er I would say go for it, just monitor temps the first test run and gear conservatively.

I also strongly suggest a external BEC, this will allow plenty of juice to the servo and less work for the ESC.


I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

In rethinking this...by the time I add a bec to cost of esc.... = Rx8. I guess my beef with the Tekin software is petty. Just spoiled at simplicity of Castle software.

If my motor ever sold I would be in business!!!
