I *HAD* the 1920 5 turn and guess what? It thermals the controllers all the time. Yes, it is an insanely powerful motor, but with JUST 6 cells, they are all the same. The 1920 5 turn is actually slower so I have to use a larger pinion gear to achieve the same speeds. Now, if you put 12 cells on the 1920 5 turn, it is WAY MORE POWERFUL than the Novaks, but I don't recommend 12 cells on the 1920 5 turn (yes, I know, I'm way past the RPM limits).
I also had the Hacker C40 6s, the Feigao 380C 6s. Honestly, my favorite is the 1520 10 turn with 3s lipo for the touring cars - but the motor and adapter plate will set you back the same amount as the GTB 4.5. I also like the Basic 5300 on 3s lipo in my TC - very/too powerful. :)
BUT, with the limitations of 6 cell and or 2s lipo, the GTB 4.5 is the fastest except for the very hot wind 1515 and 1520 series.
BTW, I've tested the GTB 5.5 and it'll pull 100+ amps all the time during peak output. It also seems to be about 6500 KV which should put the 4.5 around 8000 KV!!!!!
AND, I'VE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY GTB or SS5800.
