Max they suggest for a rustler is 17/90 on 3s... The 5700 seems to pull a bunch of amps... I was running my Pede on 3s and the motor was getting very toasty 180ish

It might pay to post more details of your setup as 3 controllers on a rustler is a lot of break.
Yeah that is how I got to 17 weeks.

I have been through my set up with Castle Tech support guys a couple of times. Both Bernie and Thomas have been really good to talk with and a lot of good info but both confirm there is really nothing in my set up that is wrong. We have covered gearing, tire size, batteries, cooling you name it. My set up is good. The first failure was of my own doing (switch wires tore from circuit board) and Castle still covered it no questions asked. This is part of why I became such a big Castle fan. My only complaint is how long it is taking to get this one replaced. Everything else about Castle has been a good experience for me but two months is too long to have to wait.

So here we are at 8/25 now and Castle has had my MM since 6/23. So they have had my ESC for two months now and when I called yet again asking when I would get it I once again get the canned answer "we are working on them now should be within two weeks". This is the third time I have been told the same thing, waited two weeks only to hear it again. I have been a stanch Castle fan boy for a long time but this is ridiculous. I am so frustrated I just dont know what to do, honestly I feel Castle owes me something more than just a working ESC to replace the one they have had for so long to make up for the unreasonable amount of time they have taken on this.

I have been talking with Morgan, she is in now in charge of repairs. I exchanged a few PM's with Patrick here on this forum that started because of this thread. Patrick first told me that he thought it had shipped. I asked him in a PM if he could confirm when and how it was shipped and never heard back from him. Then when I talked to Morgan the last time she told me she had talked to Patrick about this and he thought I was talking about a MMM not a MM and so here I sit still waiting for the replacement. I know I am going to eat a lot of crow on this elsewhere as I have been such a huge Castle fan and now feel so let down by this.

Just a thought speak to your LHS - Why don't you buy another and then return the new one from castle un-opened for a refund - Not ideal but just an idea...

There are two Rustlers in the house and we have purchased three complete MM systems and countless motors in an effort to keep the two trucks running. It is not an issue that I am down and cant run I have already bit the bullet and laid down $$$ to avoid that. It still does not change the fact that Castle has dropped the ball on this, to me it is now a matter of principal. I feel I have been mislead on when I can expect the ESC and I think having to wait as long as I have is just not reasonable. I hate sounding like sour grapes but have to admit when I read the story about someone getting a MMM on a mistake and being told to keep it free of charge it just felt like rubbing salt in an open wound to me.

This is really getting unbelievable. I just got off the phoen with Morgan yet again and you will never guess what I was told..."They should start shipping in TWO MORE WEEK". I will say Morgan is very polite and conducts herself in a profesional manner but frankly that to me is far over shadowed by the fact that I am STILL WAITING and feeling worse about the situation.

Guys, this is not the place for a Novak VS. Castle war. NovakTwo, as noted already if you could keep to the Novak forum for any information relevant to Novak and its products/services it would be much appreciated.

TexasSP, this is also not the place to personally attack employees of Novak.

I don't want to see this thread closed because just like everyone else I would like to see resolution to the OP's reason for this thread.

Ah, you are right. These are Mike's forums. I figured I could come in here and help people out, but if my competitors are allowed to come in here and heckle me and my company whenever they want, I guess this isn't the place for me to help out customers.

You'd think companies would "work" together just a bit since we all obviously have some common interests. i think it is a bit inappropriate and not very helpful to anyone here.
