Only problem with mine is that it uses a hardened steel motor shaft, so I couldn't drill a hole all the way through to fit the screw pin for the Jato output yoke onto the front of the motor. The result was that the set screw I used didn't want to stay tight, and the truck's loss of 4wd.
IMO, that 35 series motor is too small. You'll want to go with at least the 41 series. I have this in my MT2:

That size of motor could probably work in an 1/8 buggy, but kv and voltage choice would determine the wind.
