Quick Release Battery Conversion -

Would anyone be interested if this were made? I'm currently in talks with someone (as I don't want to bother Mike) about making one. It uses DZUS quarter turn fasteners to release the battery box from below the car, and there are no connectors to worry about.
I'll show you: It does require a new chassis plate, this one is for the D8:   Completed chassis, though there is normally an ESC mount and a 'lid' for the battery box. 
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. |
